Tom Wilkins serves as Chief Financial Officer for G2 Integrated Solutions, where he oversees the Finance division and works with other members of the management team to ensure the company is always positioned for financial success. In this role, Tom assesses and manages the function of business as it relates to the company’s financial health, including cash flow, client invoicing, AP/AR, operational expenses, taxation, budgeting, and financial/strategic planning.
Tom is a seasoned Finance/Accounting leader with 15 years as a CFO in both public and private companies. Additionally, he has been involved in multi-entity environments, multi-location organizations, and in companies of varying stages of business, including evaluation and due diligence of potential start-ups or acquisitions. He has focused on the development of strategic initiatives, daily operations, treasury functions, financial planning, reporting and compliance, and investor relations, while acting as a liaison to external parties such as lending institutions, private equity firms, and regulatory agencies.
Tom has also managed IT departments, directing numerous system upgrades and implementations, and was part of a team that installed middle-market accounting systems, trained staff on the use of the new system, and wrote custom reporting systems with report writing tools. In this role, he led and implemented a $50M SAP upgrade and reconfiguration project and established a field ticketing system while also managing Operations, Finance, and division Controllers.
With a career heavily focused on operations, Tom is able to quickly assess the nature of a business, its operating environment, and the factors that influence the business to set the organization on the best path to success. Methods used include forecasting and financial modeling, budgeting, cash flow analysis and planning, risk assessment, and operational management.
