Mauricio Palomino

Mauricio Palomino serves as Vice President, South and Midwest divisions for G2 Integrated Solutions, where he leads the strategic direction of all projects based in the South and Midwest regions of the US. He is responsible for the development, implementation, and execution of business growth strategies that maximize regional growth while building stronger partnership relationships with customers across the regions. He also serves as Marketing Leader, driving G2-IS’s strategic marketing and communications. Mauricio also contributes with his expertise in connectivity, asset data analytics, and asset performance optimization to G2’s technology and product innovation programs.

He has over 19 years of experience in many aspects of business management in the oil and gas industry, including solutions and product development, business development, strategic marketing, finance, and quality management.

Mauricio has spent the last 13 years of his career working in diverse roles of increasing challenge and responsibility at GE Oil & Gas in Latin America, Europe, and North America. Most recently, he worked as Senior Solutions Leader for the Intelligent Pipeline – Digital Solutions business. In this role, he was responsible for all the global marketing, pre-sales solution architecture, product, and business development of a new venture between GE and Accenture created to deliver software and analytics solutions to the midstream industry. He was instrumental in the delivery of the first cloud-based risk management and leak detection offerings for oil and gas pipelines and securing the selection as the exclusive vendor to sign an industry-first multi-year deal worth over $15M with one of the largest natural gas transporters in the US. Mauricio also served as Director of Global Strategic Marketing for Flow & Process Technologies, a $1.2B business unit resulting from the acquisition of the Dresser business, where he was responsible for the integration of the marketing function. Prior to this role, he served as Global Product Management & Marketing Leader for PII Pipeline Solutions, where he managed the global New Product Introduction and Capital Investment processes and provided the essential link between the marketplace and the rest of the business, driving product innovation, leadership, and execution. During this time, the business introduced many innovations to the industry, including the 4th generation Magnetic technology for geometry and mapping and the latest EMAT technology for cracks.

Mauricio has a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Government, and International Affairs from Universidad Externado de Colombia, with an emphasis in international business and administration, finance, economics, civil law, public administration, politics, and diplomacy. He has taken several management and leadership courses post-grad, has a certification in Project Management, and is a certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt.
