David Corbett serves as Chief Executive Officer of G2 Integrated Solutions, leading the company’s strategic direction, managing business structure and process placement, and encouraging successful corporate growth. His strengths include a deep commercial focus with advanced skills in marketing and sales growth, team development and performance management. He has a demonstrated ability to drive delivery and results in international portfolio businesses in contracting and consulting organizations. David has developed a pragmatic, task-oriented management style with a passion for team achievement and business performance improvement. He is very analytically oriented, with an ability to work with detail while establishing and driving delivery of the bigger picture.
Most recently, David served as Regional Director of North America – Industry Services and Senior Vice President of Exploration and Production Services for Intertek, a multinational inspection, product testing, and certification company. While there, he led the testing, inspection and asset integrity business, serving the oil and gas, refining, chemical and power industries.
Prior to his work with Intertek, David was the Vice President and Managing Director of Engineering at Seawell/Archer Ltd, where he held full profit and loss responsibility for the internationally-managed engineering division. David was the Board Director of multiple Archer group companies and turned around a declining business while maintaining margins, rebuilding leadership, project management, and technical teams, and introducing new assurance processes, controls and competence assurance. He transformed highly critical client perspectives in all locations to highly positive, prompting repeat business in a 9-month period.
David earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering. He was also awarded a Master of Business Administration from University of Strathclyde. David is a UK Chartered Engineer and a European Registered Engineer. He is a Member of the Royal Institution of Naval Architects and a Member of the Association for Project Management.
